Are you so sure that was nervous investors and not shorts? After all, it opened at 5 and with no news, that's easy money (5 is where it becomes able to margin).

ASCT, FWIW, I had a buy order sitting at the ask for more than 1 1/2 hrs Thursday and all they filled was a measly 100 shares.
