Since it is not presently a requirement of at least the cell phone OEM's to have UL approval, my sense is if VLNC was in a "two minute drill" why would they be spending extra time on anything not required? I ran across a little piece of information that can be interpreted a number of ways but I think it is probably positive. While playing with my browser I noticed that on November 23, Valence posted a job offering for an "EQUIPMENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER" in NI at the dotjobs web site, however when I went to their home page it was no longer posted. I wonder, did VLNC already fill the position or did they pull it off for another reason? If they did hire someone isn't that pretty bullish?
