"That's why the 3DNOW is such a huge success - because the ENTIRE
INDUSTRY FAVORS AMD's 3DNOW !"

Thats right, about every new game of importance has a form of 3dnow support wich gives quite an extra dimension to the standard software renderd engine, and accelerates most popular 3d addon or stand alone video cards.

More and more compilers support 3dnow, winamp has standard 3dnow support and I heard that adobe was going to implement 3dnow for photoshop .

This already is about a hundred times as much as what mmx achieved in its THREE TIMES LONGER EXISTANCE as 3dnow.

MMX was fake. Marketing hype, just a nice money maker for intel and the beginning of the loss of trust from a certain amount of loyal intel buyers. MMX no workie...

And now, 3dnow delivers noticable differences in speed, and imagequality...so I think 3dnow has been the most succesfull SIMD implementation until date. Lucky for intel that amd prove SIMD *could* be worth it, and they can promote their KNI without being confrontated with their obselete mmx history.

p.s. check www.3dnow.net

every day there is a title their with support for 3dnow , or drivers, bios'es etc

3dnow works, you just seem to have a little bit difficulty to accept it
