PMF: I believe that Compaq earned .42 (??) for Q4 '97. A lot of people probably conclude that, in light of the infamous channel stuffing fiasco, all of CPQ's earnings prior to that (at least in '97)were skewed and exaggerated. If CPQ can earn somewhere in the area of .42, without the "stuffed channel", I think that the stock would really take off. I realise that comparing the 2 quarters is like comparing apples and oranges, but psychologically, it would have a big impact. K
