mr.mark,

If you're running Norton Utilities on a FAT32 machine (Win95), I know what you mean. Something in the Norton Utilities package wiped out my FATs (reorganized them or something to a 16 bit specification). I had to de-install the package and get a refund. This was about a year or two ago. They may have fixed the problem by now whatever it was.
