Zeev; RE for the next rally during a correction, is to look at the new high list when it declines below about 25. I take out all the "special cases" like acquisitions etc. and up with a list I can use once I determine the correction has run its course.
I follow you about taking out "special cases" , but I'm not sure
I understand some of this.

1 you make up the list during an correction ?

2 it's comes from stocks making new highs during the correction ?
( there are always some )

3 You cull out special cases ..( that I know I understand )

4 With this list you can determine when the correction has run it's
course... Now that I really do want to understand
--------------------

My momentum stocks were simply picked ( during the correction ,) but
the cut off time frame for picking momentum was before and
up until the correction started, and it didn't occur to me
at the time to use them in any special way to find when the
correction ran it's course, ( guess I could have ) but I'm not sure.
-------------------
Heck I assumed stocks making new highs during a correction such
as we had in August were sitting ducks, but I was too busy with
other stuff to check it out, maybe my assumption was a bit
hasty..any way how do you use them to pick a market bottom ?
