AMD's pattern over the last 10 yrs is that it is always strong in the first 3 months of the year with exception of '96 .
The chances of a retracement are also lessened by publicity like the following :-

Jim, This is one of "funniest" posts I have seen in some time ... Did you
get new "chicken bones" for Xmas ?? <ggg> Personally, I think the AMD
chart has the "classic" AMD "toilet bowl" formation ... This is the one
where Intel "craps" all over AMD with lower prices. <ggg> How do you like
your new Celeron ??
