Yep, you got me... Tom never mentioned
the P-II reference configuration, right.
There might be some trick to provide exact
configuration: since the GX is a subset
(or superset?) of BX (as Intel claims, and
the specs show identical content of all bridge
registers), one can copy essential registers
values, and everything may be identical...
Of course if, as you say, the GX and BX
are identical except one address line...
