John - re: p.m.s, as indicated I'll respect wishes and refrain from posting.

Recognize you're a very busy and upset with possible negative stuff however it would be useful to know when overdue financials will be filed.

A helpful soul at (604) 683-2244 indicated that the stuff "is being worked on" and it did sound like the process won't be completed before Monday.

John - realize turtle mode is happening & likely I'm being a pain. I called BC Securities Commission, Statutory Filings Dept. to find out "rules" for situations with November year end (ie. yours). Audittors Report, Declaration of Mailing and Form 61 as well as prescribed fees have to be filed by 140 days following latest yr. end. In UIC's situation APRIL 19 was the deadline. Next question - "What happens if a company is late on the statutory filings?" Indicated answere was that there's an automatic late fee $200 applied and that the company can be issued a "CEASE TRADE" order by Securities Commission pooh-bah at any time. urther question - "Is there any leniency applied re: late situations and how are CEASE TRADE ORDERS applied. Answer indicated that it's "sorta" like speeding in school zones, sometimes you get dinged and other times nothing seems to happen. Re: company file, it sounded as though neither you nor the audittor had made any calls to BCSC indicating a possible delay re: filing? Being proactive and hands-on guy that you are, wouldn't you "sorta" think a call to the rules folks might be in order? I don't know, just a concerned shareholder. BC Securities number is 899-6500 and if you ask for Statutory Filings Department I'm sure you'll be served. It was also indicated there are $1040 fees outstanding however I don't think that includes latest little fee. AT the end of the week it was also indicated that the bcsc publishes to news providers a "List of Issuers in Default". Sure, busyiness can be stated but rules would seem to rank up on the priority list or am I missing something?

John - offlines acknowledged and as indicated, you need to publicly post so shareholders can be kept current. Your previous willingness to be visible was a factor in some share transactions so find it "interesting" re: convenience of now refusing........ John, the postal gal delivered some "Notice of Annual Meeting" packages today. Your signature is at the end of the form on page 7 just under the bold print that says "ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD". The paragraph above your signature states, "Management is not aware of any matters to come before the Meeting other than those set forth in the Notice of Meeting." say again?, "MANAGEMENT IS NOT AWARE OF ANY MATTERS TO COME BEFORE THE MEETING OTHER THAN SET FORTH IN THE NOTICE OF MEETING." John, is this true? What about Peter Granwich's understanding (publicly stated) re: being appointed to the board? (see #reply-9074064 ) What about what you've previously conveyed? (see acknowledgement above). Sure, overall the focus is obviously locked on minutiae but maybe just another example of the words not seeming to say what they say?.......... John, if I'm mistaken I'll gladly (I'm a shareholder remember), and publicly, correct. Still waiting for your reply re: Chile contract as well as Revenue Canada. The note was sent as a followup to your offline.

Sorry about being so negative John. Any info. re: status of Chile contract? ie. Have any phases been completed yet? I believe first phase was to have been finished Sept.'98. Am I mistaken?
