Hi Dave; Re> My intuition tells me that once a market cap weighting has been established; the movement of a stock price in the weighted portfolio will correct for the weighting I sure can understand how it looks that way, and hope I didn't sound like a know it all, but I do love the numbers game.. Guess It started as a kid, ( my uncle was a bookie ), the teachers in school didn't like me to much, ( I always out did them in math ) but I hated every thing else and to this day can't spell worthaflip, also I never developed the skills to convey my ideas very good, I've improved some but still lag way behind being able to paint the pictures I see. But sure have got hooked on computers, I loved them best before windows...<G> Sure I know they do much more now, but I don't stand out like the genus I appeared to be when they were in dos, I use to be in big demand. :-( Jim <G>
