Donald, I do not think it is a fake out, I believe it is the beginning of a good two years boom in the semi's, but I also think that the horses are running so fast that they have a good chance of stumbling a little. I do not know if it will happen (and my advice last Monday was selling above 54 or raising the stop to 46.5 or so.) The turnips still have an "all clear" unless the SOX drops below 318 (it was 310, but that stop got to rise with the rise in the moving average). I still think that VECO is one of the better positioned in the group (and disagree with Carl who prefers AMAT). Medium term ( to six months) if the stock does not breach 46 or so, I can see it attempt a run to about $65. It will be very richly priced there, IMHO, but not more richly priced then AMAT would be in the same time frame at its all time high just above $50. DON.....FWIW.. .i sold my holdings @45,48, and 49 a few weeks ago.....i was selling into the strength... ..i didn't image the buying was going to push the stock price up to 55 so quickly.....too quickly [ momentum players ].......i really like the company but after having to average down a few times,,, i saw a chance to take a very nice PROFIT,and i took it......i really do dig this company..... ....everybody on SI, i'm wishing you and yours a very HAPPY NEW YEAR.....Praise the Lord....
