Hi Tomato. Yes, anyone buying those stocks would have done well. But didn't Mr. Buffett buy them mostly before '96? Do you not think people on this thread (and me too -g-) found those stocks overvalued in '96-'98 --- or if not overvalued, we found reasons why we didn't buy them? That is, am I wrong in saying I saw no real push here by Buffett people to recommend and buy KO, WPPO, WFC, AXP, DIS in '98. So an opportunity of a 'could have, should have' was missed by Buffett followers, although Mr. Buffett, BKH holders are doing okay because they bought years ago. And if/when these stocks continue to climb WEB and Berkshire holders will do okay. But what about people here, who, to me, sound like they are in cash?

Mr. Buffett still holds these stocks. So because of that, then I ask (politely) would you yourself, be committing new money to these stocks now? If so, why continue to look for new Buffett stocks?
(I'm not criticizing the stocks or saying they are overvalued. Everything WEB seems to touch, IMO, turns to gold. So maybe these stocks will continue their upward climb.)
