>><< But I find it harder every day to care>> You got it!

Yeah, I'm afraid so, but I'm not pleased. You need to understand that my increasing inability to care springs from my belief that all Clinton is doing is hastening this country's downward slide. (That and my inability to get anyone other than the people who already agree with me to agree with me. But we all know what that's like, don't we?) I really do believe that our nation would best be served by his immediate removal from the office of president; It's just that I feel that we will continue on that slide no matter what we do. But that doesn't mean we don't have a responsibility to do whatever we can to slow it down.

It's possible that we can still come out of all of this okay. I have been sort of encouraged to see the debate change since the days when the Dems were still arguing that nothing had happened with Monica. (BTW it's okay to admit that Bill screwed you over on that one. He sat there and wagged his finger and lied through his teeth and an awful lot of you believed him. I'd be pretty pissed off if it were me.) But anyway, we're hopefully all agreed that lying is a bad thing and presidential lying is a really bad thing. And I hope that We the People still have enough influence that that will make some difference.
