Kevin, send Anand an e-mail. He's just as much an AMD advocate as Herr Uberclockermeister, so if there's something wrong with his benchmarks that makes the K6-3 look deficient, he'll want to know about it.

Of course, at the moment, Anand's web site seems to be down once again. Must be that new Sun Ultrasparc server. He should have gone with a Xeon server. ;-)
