Is the company abandoning hope that the ODBMS market will deliver growth?> I don't look at the company's new tag line as a sign that they're abandoning hope for the ODBMS market. Enterprise & embedded data management solutions refer to ObjectStore & PSE Pro respectively. XML is a new niche that's well suited for ODBMSes. With Excelon, ODI will be targeting new market segments to provide additional growth. More importantly, I think, it will increase the visibility of the company very much like the way PSE Pro has done. By getting more people aware of the company and its products, it can only fuel additional sales for its core engine, ObjectStore.
