Just read your profile, looks like your in the right stocks.

You're from San Diego? I was just there at a client site,
played the North course at Torrey Pines, and a round at
Balboa, very nice courses Torrey inspired some of the best
golf I ever played!

LB -
There may be some marketing hype from DELL on this topic, but DELL has no products which compete with the high end SUN products such as the 10000 series. DELL also does not yet have the rest of the offerings - service and storage. They would like to make that move but are at least a year away from the ability to compete even minimally with SUN in the high end.

A much more likely play would be CPQ with the Alpha platform, which can run both Unix and NT. CPQ also has been quite public about going after SUN, both in servers and storage.
