OT Good evening, PAL! I've been away from this box a few days. Was touched by your story of the happy Witness family who cleaned the offices where you worked. Our daughter, Sarah, and her husband have a small cleaning business. She was HS valedictorian and Suma Cum Laude at Georgia State...the Most Outstanding Computer Science Major. Now she and Bob serve with a Spanish congregation in Winston Salem that needed help so both learned the language. He's a former WS policeman, and from time to time meets ones he arrested as he goes house to house. He gets their complete attention. Before marriage she went to the Dominican Republic to practice preaching in Spanish. They work together, and have days free for the ministry. I also worked part time till our first child came along. Your efficiency sharpens when you have to produce a week's income in two or three days, and material things are much less important. Good training, and you learn to deal with people well. When you are entering into the house, greet the household; and if the house is deserving, let the peace you wish it come upon it. [Matt 10:12] I've always considered this work the center of my life. I was delighted by your reference to Matthew 24:36 Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father Of course this shows that Jesus was not God, as do the rest of the scriptures.
