Michelle, Slick has said this is priority number 1. Do you believe it? No, he and his buddies want an issue. Just look at the end of the budget process how new programs were created when every dime was to go to Social Security. You remember the 100,000 teachers - each paid $10,000 for one year only. Did you hear that detail on the nightly news. No - just 100,000 new teachers because it sounded so good as an issue. Whoops, he must have forgot that all money had to go to SS.

Incidentally, I do not think all $ should go to SS. I think the money should be used in a manner that fosters a strong economy that will generate the revenues that are critical to any solution to the SS problem.
