Limtex, whether "junk" or not, I can't see buying a Jazz drive today. As a back-up device, for the cost of two 2GB Jazz cartridges, you can get a 10GB hard drive in a removable drawer. If you need to exchange data via the mails, CDRs cost far less, weigh less, and are less likely to be damaged.

Clik! is similar in that it provides too little value for the price. IBM will give you 8 times the storage in a similar form factor for the price of a Clik! drive (with 300MB in the camera, who needs removable storage?) And by the time you pay the price for building a Clik! drive into a camera, you could have supplied the user with all the CF he is ever likely to need.

IMHO Clik! is yet another IOM product that will be overmarketed and oversold until the public gets wise to the alternatives.

Limtex,

The failure rate of IOM products has been mentioned on many threads before. Perhaps that is not unusual if you consider many of their products are for mobile computing.
