Hi Michelle, what a nice idea the dems have in means testing on SS. Guess the AARP better get involved. Let's see, the government took your money and put it in a trust, you get it back when you retire. Oops, it's bankrupt from illegal immigrants and gen Xers taking disability. Now the guy from Peoria Il. wants what he paid in back, and not taxed. The difference to him is Florida or up to his ass in snow. The take it from this generation and give it away doesn't play to the 55 plus crowd. AARP votes.

Michelle, Means test medicare for sure. Government assistance should only be for those who cannot help themselves.

As for Hillary's health care program - refer to a prior post where I said one of the worst aspects of the Clinton residence in the White House has been the failure to have open debate on major issues. Health care is the perfect example. She and her allies on the left went behind closed doors, Ira claimed they were government employees if you remember, an voila - mega program by Hillary. A true monument to government beauracy. So, if we had had an open debat we may have had reform. Instead, what we got was an issue to bash Republicans - of cours that one was so bad it worked the other way around.

Let's have a debate. Let's BUILD a consensus, not create a political issue.

Bob
