Two answers for starters:

1 - He said he started with less money. You ASSUMED he meant
from birth, refering to credit card debt. He meant, when Buffett put
his investment partnership together, he had several thousand dollars
to start with. Maybe Chuzz only started with $500 to invest.

2 - You ASSUMED that if he had Buffett's returns, he'd be super-rich
(net worth wise). However, Buffett has NEVER (as far as I know) sold
any BRK holdings. He has every share he started with. Perhaps
Chuzz has spent more than a fair portion of his profits over the years,
so the compounding effect would not be anywhere near as great.

I'm not here to defend Chuzz, just to point out there are some pretty
easy possible answers to the questions you raised.
