Last Public OT to Shiloh. . . [respond in pvt por favour] Finished at U. of Miami. Paul in Palm Springs, me too whenever possible. He is so funny. . .has room full of MIDI mods and recording gear. . . sits in wheelchair and composes from about 2pm to 4am EVERY day. He has some neat new stuff. . . like a new American opera for the new millenium. . . looking for REALLY talented choral dept. to perform it. . . very hard. He would actually like to score one more serious film.. . for the fun of it. Any film scoring job I would take would have him approving each cue before I submit. I welcome Indie's. . . many are better than features anyway. I compose straight to paper or with keyboard or straight to MIDI sequencers. . . Jazz Flugelhorn is primary these days. . . CD project in progress [with others] using a prototype flugel designed by Arturo Sandoval. One-of-a-kind SOLID COPPER ONE PIECE BELL. . . no seams. Sweet horn. Totally unique ensemble sound with wide appeal...can't go into detail tho. Primary work has been as composer or producer. Played big band lead tpt [bebop] with some great jazz players. Also toured on bass [pop/rock styles] for long time, blah, blah, blah. Burned out on doing other peoples projects and walked away. Just now working back in. . . but STRICTLY on my terms this time. Enough about me. . . back to stock talk. Rande Is
