I believe slick has had to run to the left for protection to likes of Barney Frank and Maxine Waters. He is now in their debt. He is not going away from the left now. Clinton, as we have seen, honors his debts to no one. This is doubly reinfoced by his lame-duck status. The Progressive Caucus in the Democratic Party can do nothing to hurt him, except pull the plug on their impeachment/removal opposition, which they'll never do because they hate the Republicans more than they hate him. He'll try to do whatever he wants because he's always done whatever he wants.
