Scan,

Everything I know about the funkster leads me to believe he is just an enthusiastic supporter of MB and not an employee. As it turns out, I happen to know his real identity but doubt that would add much to the ongoing discussions.

There is a whole culture in cyberspace regarding assumed identities and many good reasons to maintain them as long as you don't incur legal obligations. Being a site operator forces transparency. Since Morning Trader will feature daily stock analysis, I take the enforcement actions in Texas, Massachusetts and Colorado very seriously and assume regulators are watching over the place regularly.

Just so my point of view is clear, I believe the TNs of the world are likely just an interim step until the discounters swallow up the interfaces and offer multiple direct entry options. Most of the small EDT firms won't be able to survive when the WalMarts of the industry jump into their turf. $5 trades through a Real Tick interface will be heaven on earth.

BTW Morning Trader will go live 1/04. The new pages looks great and the content should be very popular.
