In the spirit of the holiday season and the New Year,
I agree with you, plus, I grudgingly admit you have a
valid point. President Clinton has done more than preside
over the economy, he has participated and contributed to
a success. I give him credit for participating, but there
was alot of political carnege along the way that has split
parties wider than any time in my life time.

But, where he get's credit for the ride and his part, the
reality that must also be recognized is that 'fiscal' conservative
philosophy brought us here. Without the Republican agenda, he
( by his own statements in public ) NEVER believed the budget could
be balanced in less than 10 years and even the CBO said his proposals
never balanced. Reagan didn't win the cold war by himself ( I helped
alot :-) ), and Clinton didn't balance the budget, but he will get
credit, agreed.
