Chuzz...A "BIG" Announcement coming on Dec. 31st.....I don't see it mentioned here on today's postings anywhere, but on some other message boards there has been mention/speculation of something said on CNBC last Thursday, I believe....It was reported that AOL will be announcing something "BIG" on Thursday Dec. 31st.

The main possibilities have been speculated to be one or more of the following:
1)Pre-Announcement of better than expected Earnings for the Quarter.
2)The 15 Million subscribers milestone having been reached.
3)Or, the best one yet, a Broadband deal with a major cable/phone company (I figure this one alone could be worth 10-20 points in a day or two).

This could be a really interesting week with all the S&P Fund buying and the "Big" Announcement on the 31st.

Regards, George

I'm hoping for profits as outrageous as many of us have gotten from Dell.

That's exactly why I switched to AOL. I still hold some Dell but have trimmed quite a bit. The growth going forward with AOL reminds me of Dell years ago. I don't think Dell will do badly, just not as good as AOL. At least that what I'm betting on.

Best
