<<Mike, about the joy of giving gifts, may I respond here?>> No. Just kidding. :-) Your ideas were very good and shows you have some imagination, but I suppose I forgot to include one small detail.....I'm also lazy. <gg> (Didn't used to be, but my rear end has become accustomed to this chair on a daily basis since joining SI). I knew I could have pushed up the limit on the CC, but I decided that I just wasn't going to do it this year. Barring that, my funds were pretty much spoken for on a weekly basis. Your ideas were great, and of course your thoughts regarding the holiday were right on. Lest I forget, thank you for sharing them (as well as making it an entertaining read to-boot). There is one thing I believe should be pointed out with regard to giving money as a gift (I know you didn't make referrence to this, just something which has recently struck me). My grandfather started giving my sister and I $20 each Christmas sometime in the late 60's or early 70's when we hadn't even reached the age of 10. Every year he did this until I came to the point that I expected it. I think those that choose this route should consider the long-term ramifications of doing so. BTW, when my grandfather died, I didn't shed a tear. So don't expect those to whom you give money as a gift on a consistant basis to love you any more. It is the time one spends with another that counts, not the money lest one fall into the same trap my grandfather did, and one, sadly, I may be perpetuating with my own nieces. Hopefully, Edwarda, I'll remember your thoughts well before the day arrives next year. Hope you had a nice Christmas. Mike
