On Michael Burke's talents....

They are many, and I have noticed (duh) that he is a pure value investor. Now this I can put into context a little.

Mike also has some great income strategies with derivatives and the 90/10 plan - real investing interested in a measured and better than average return. I want to give him part of my money to manage blindly. Thought about it, Mike?

There is so much noise and crap on threads generally. Noticed with Mr. Pink you basically have to live on his thread to benefit from most of his picks. A daytrader I am NOT. A couple of his picks were intermediate style timings, but not many. So much effort on the MDA thread (a good one to follow) on the day to day movements of the market - but sometimes you can get lost in the woods. The 56-pt TA thread (I know, sacreligious) has some good ideas, but no one stops to understand the themes of the picks. (By the way, one I noticed was that there are a few small chip companies that make the clocks that the utility companies will need to replace their systems with in order to be y2k compliant.)

With Mike, at least for me now, I have to work the other way. A long term thinker is a great place to build a home - thanks Mike.
