Zeev, I am always playing with fire and I must admit that I have burns all over my body. You are correct in that I am predicting a severe downturn. Looks like I am in trouble on several fronts here. My negative call on TPL was answered with a buy in Dick Davis today. Am I worried--no. If I fail, I will find a new system and scrap the one that did not work. I continue to be amazed at the progression of internetmania. Strangely, I do not see those stocks in the portfolio of the Wizard of Omaha? I do see, however several adisors beginning to tout gold stocks (the dead metal) and I see some finding value in oil and gas properties. 98 was the year of the tech and 99 will be another year. The year of drug and biotech, perhaps? Shure, the communication and satelites will be around and there will be bandwidth and online stuff and I even like some of those, but the sea will change and how big are the sails on the AMZN boat buy the way? Once the real credit crunch hits first the hedge funds and industrial folks and then the "plastic crunch" hits the average joe six pack, then we will know that the "asian flu" has fully arived. Or will it be "Latin Flu", or "Malay flu". Certainly, it will not be "Russian Flu", because they have no economy to fail. You are right, I am a bit negative here, and with damn good reason. Admittedly, I have been falsely negative for a long time, but you can bet that I like many will be right one day!! I invite all to laugh at me for my negative foolishness in a bull market, then we will see what we see! My advice from a very good speller is to never take any crap about your englisch! They know what you meant, they are just jbbling up your words. I prefer the good mind to the good speller in all cases. Buy the way, I have no favorite enslisch teacher, and I was bornded here! Keep thy turnips covered this winter, Jack!!
