I am sure Samsung has a vastly more diversified business than Micron---infact I know first hand because I have been involved in supply agreements with both of these companies.Samsung is far behind Micron in yield and cost to produce ---they will sell at or below Micron's prices in the market place. This will cause a loss in that segment of their business which is at some point in time cause them to improve, get out or get more subsity----that is the Goverments call in Korea but not in the US except in very rare national security situations.Micron has almost doubled its capacity and they are going quickly to the .18 technology I think their position is one of power and future profit.
