He has seen 2 specialists since and they have not given him much hope past 3 yrs. survival. My family has been devastated by this info.... But then I took the bull by the horns! I have spoken with him on a number of occasions since, and he is not very optimistic. We did get him to go to a healing service last Tuesday. That was a miracle in itself. Praise God!! My prayer is that God gives him the faith that he needs in order to refuse to be given a death sentence by statistics. He is a good man, wonderful father and husband, but he needs the Lord. He is his only hope at this point....And OH what a Hope He is!! I ask that everyone pray for God to come upon him and show him the healing powers and mercy of God through Jesus Christ. Pray that God gives him more faith every day. He has been finding a lot of negative junk on the internet and it's getting him down. We have all spoken with him and reinforced in him that God's mercy is not determined by statistics. A miraculous healing would be for God to give him a new heart so that he would believe that Christ can heal him....And put a smile on his face and boldness in his everybeing, A boldness to stand against the odds and cast out all negativity, and claim that healing that belongs to him....in Christ's name. He is by the way going to one of the best oncologist in the nation. Now he just needs to go to the "Greatest Physician" Thank you everyone. Sncerely, Shalom...><>

Dear, dear Gregor. I have had several months to reflect on the world around me and where it appears to be going on all levels, and I guess the need for prayer in all areas will probably accelerate. I guess that's about all anyone could really say. Hopefully our Lord will strengthen everyone's commitment. I know to see Jamie's mother's words reminds me of how people suffer when tragedy hits. All the more important to be instant in season. The scripture as given by our Lord, through His own mouth, and I do believe with all my heart protected and printed through the power of the HOly Spirit moving through men, instructs us only to pray. For the sick especially. That this is a purpose for the Life of Jesus, and a basic purpose for being Christian. He put so much emphasis on that one thing: Go heal in my name. Go tell them that the sick are healed...etc., etc. He didn't give seminars on why, or how. He just gave very simple instructions that IF WE ASK OF THE FATHER IN HIS NAME, it would happen. But again, if it didn't, He didn't spend a lot of time giving lengthy explanations, or instructing the praying person not to lose hope, etc. So that shows me the cards are always stacked for the healing to happen, not the other way around. Jesus also spoke highly of the admiration the Father had for the person who banged on His door in the middle of the night when He was trying to sleep. So, that again goes against those who tell us to quietly pray and then trundle off and forget about it. So, I guess all of these things mean nothing to anyone unless they are explained by the Holy Spirit. Again, of course, Faith comes by hearing. Hearing from the Word of God. We need to revive our spirits with all those healing scriptures. Nothing quite works as good as a Thompson chain and about an hour to follow every scripture leading off from the subject "Healing". Those journey are always quite amazing. I believe this is going to be a wonderful year for those who truly love Jesus Christ as He instructed, and have thereby become closer to God the Father in so doing. May the Peace of God, which indeed passes all understandingly, be upon us all, both now and forever, Amen.
