Dan,
<<So in fear and love >>

Do you really think that God should, or even wants to be, feared?
If so, why would he desire fear?

Mark

Dearest Dan,
<I always have one question on my mind, always has puzzled me. Ya'll have dealt with it before a long time ago, but any answer given has not satisfied, so far anyway. If all Israel is saved, why would you bother to try to teach them Jesus now? (And I know you do, cause listening to DLL speak about his worship services they are primarily geared to do that very thing). Seems you should leave them alone, if they are saved anyway and concentrate on the lost, true? or not?>

I am glad you asked this. First I do not know who is saved without Jesus and do not desire that anyone should spend their life without that pearl of great price. The Chosen People ministry put it this way:
Would you go and see a friend in prison and visit with them and bring them food and forget to tell them that the price for their sentence has been paid and they can come out into the light? Honestly Dan I feel the Church got off track some by focusing only on eternal life. Jesus is eternal life being with him is eternal life. My hearts desire is for all people to know Him. Also, it is His desire that Israel be saved I am stirred deeply when I read of how He wept over Jerusalem and how my Master desires to gather them to himself. What joy fills my heart when one comes to Him and is rejoined to Him. You have to understand I feel like that about all people. I go to the grocery store and want to start washing everyones feet, telling them to be of good cheer the Lord wants to free them of their burdens.
1 Cor. 13 says without love everything we say or do is nothing.
I choose to leave judgement to the Lord and try my best to just love people no matter what their condition for just this year I have seen 2 people I knew that I thought were disasters and would never make it. After not seeing them for awhile I was filled with praise to the Lord of love that they are like new people totally different and loving. Then there was the gift of my father I can not find a word to fit the praise I have for my Lord for him. You see He never gives up even though we do, so I know he would never give up on Israel because of who He is.
May the Lord fill your heart to overflowing with His love and joy,
Nancy
