Lee,

>>>> $TICK negative most point in days yet market holding up well so far. Wonder if TICK is reflecting our sell signals yet seasonality is holding the actual indexes etc up? <<<<<<<<

It is also possible that the low volume is skewing things. Hey they always say that a up day on low volume is not the best sign of strength. The NAZ is up strongly by 25 points(about 125 DOW points).

Although I do not believe that the internets control this market, however I do believe it is an indicator of the markets euphoria, and the DOT.X just set a NEW HIGH.

It is not that I think the market strong, since I am not just looking at price movement, but the momentum is still there, so I agree that this may not be the time to initiate puts - right now I am still on hold.

The S&P 400 seems to be next in line for breakout to new highs.
I believe the Value Line Comp, the Russell 2000, the S&P 400, and the S&P 600 broke downtrend lines. The blue chips, the internets, and the Y2K's leading.
