I said this at $36, and was justifiably queried for it, but it's definitely true now at $40: tax loss selling should be minimal, and in fact tax gain holding should more likely characterize the remainder of 1998. So I agree with Mark, AAPL should go up over the next month, with some downs close to Steve's keynote (before, during, after I don't know) as people take profits on short-term bets.
