Here's a post from the Yahoo thread that may be of interest to those long... equitiesenthusiast by: race2may 6197 of 6207 I got my original information from the Merrill Lynch web site. Anyone can get free research reports at www.ml.com until Feburary. In their report about how AFC is turning things around they mention that the new interface will be available for China in first quarter of '99. So last week I called Investor Relations at AFC and asked them about it. I was told that everything was going according to plan concerning China and that an announcement was going to be made soon about the deployment of the new interface. You can reach AFC's IR at 707-794-7700. It's as simple as picking up the phone and calling them. Eventhough the lady would not come out and actually say that they were shipping at this very moment, she did leave me with the impression that all the political manuvering had been completed. Race
