Pat, Both Christmas Day and Boxing Day are statutory holidays in Canada. When a statutory holiday falls on the weekend, usually the closest Friday or Monday is offered in lieu. Most non-retail businesses here are almost totally deserted between Christmas and New Years. (I suspect that's also the case in most countries that are predominantly Christian) Saw that DT has significantly lowered rates, that its competition is giving short duration calls for free (less than 1 minute). Here's hoping that this competition generates enough demand to drive up NN's revenues. Ian.
