How do shorts hold down a stock? TIA...
By BORROWING shares to sell...hoping for price to drop before they have to BUY the shares they borrowed.

Just as we have packs of investors buying....there are packs of short sellers waiting to pounce on any stock that has run up or that they want to "go long" on [buy and hold] later at a newly reduced price.

I think that there are some major short sellers on PRFM that want to buy it under 1. We shall see.
