CNBC has had a few guests this morning talking about retail sales over Christmas. The slant for growth is defiantly favoring the internet. Very few brick and mortar retailers had a good Christmas, the discounters being the exception. The article I read in Baron's also said that the online sales figures for this Christmas would be better than expected, that is the reason I have been paying close attention to the story. Someone help me out here, did AOL not sign on an online retailer in the past month or so for a fee, plus 50% of all sales made on their web site? With deals like that how can they not make money?

<< Target price / projections >>

I predict AOL will be up.

Thats about as good as you can predict this stock. As I've said before, your best bet is to simply buy, hold, buy some more and etc....

There will be many up's and many down's, but the end result should leave AOL as a monster in a few years. I only hope that people are smart enough to hold this baby. With the large jump we have seen, many people will take their profits and run. The sad thing is that AOL is just beginning it's hyper growth phase. Those that bail now are going to miss the real fun which will continue for at least the next few years. I for one am holding for the long term and will add to my position whenever funds are availabale to do so.

Good luck to all
