I will admit that SQL SRVR has some better windows sys admin stuff, but ORCL is or has fixed most of this. MSFT has definitely motivated the ORCL engineers. I am not aware of bundled SQL SRVR deals, but that doesn't mean they don't exist <g>.

SQL SRVR is to ORCL as the sub-$1000 (AMD) PC was/is to INTC. ORCL will continue to expand its high-end market share, but SQL SRVR is eating around the low-end very seriously. Let's see if ORCL sees this a a serious threat and responds. (I believe it must respond.)
