Downsouth, Thanks for the nice words. The feeling is mutual. I especially enjoy your posts when you debate on very technical matters (example - databases). I have lost touch with the technology out there since I made a career change. I am learning a lot on this thread. BTW - I saw the price on ORCL ($43) and had a change of heart. I did not realize that it ran up about $6 in the past 2 weeks (a big move in percentage terms). I am going to look into the other companies. My problem is that retirement accounts in Canada only allow a certain amount of US holdings. So I end up only with picking only 1 or 2 American companies. However in non retirement accounts, there are no limits.
