yeah, there were a lot of blanks out there over the holiday.
Deleting the blanks doesn't change the assigned reply numbers.

It seems that the number is assigned when response is selected but
if the response is not submitted then the number is lost in space.

That doesn't explain the gap in the earlier numbers today though.
