AR, The story gets worse. As happens every year, I forget how stupid the Xmas lies were by the time they come undone. CNBS mentioned today that many analysts were carrying 7% growth rates. Whoa! Now they are saying that if this after Xmas buying is a blowout, they may hit 3%. Gee, that seems like a sea change to me. <G> They do it every single year. The Xmas lies are just too easy to tell and blame is rarely assigned, so why not?

I think 1% of sales on the Net would be a bit on the high side. Maybe 1% for Xmas season, but definitely not for the year. In other words, a non-event capitalized like the be all and end all of retailing.
