The fundamental reason given for such a move will probably be the internet's positive impact on corporate profit margins and inflation levels, which will allow interest rates in America to drift lower, making the present value of future cash flows more valuable. Add to that the flood of liquidity from our future retirees and around the world, and this is a stick of dynamite waiting to go off.

You could just throw darts and not lose over the coming year (unless you were Lisa! <ggg>). The Biotechs, while still relatively inexpensive compared to their '91-'94 valuations, seem poised for a megamove. My favorite in that sector is SuperGen (SUPG and SUPGW). The wave count and chart pattern on that one looks ideal (just breaking up out of a 3 week base with heavy volume, and finishing up several wave 2 corrections).

We didn't get the move above 1135SPX as yet, but it could still come tomorrow before a multiday correction sets in. Trin5 dropped below 4 again today on the close, and there are BIG futures sellers in the 1143-1145 area SPH. I think they may let it slip through there to run the stops before we get the drop back to the 6 month breakout pt. (1193SPX) for a retest.
