You could have gone skiing in Palo Alto last week. I saw a cornice forming one morning at the top of Page Mill Road.

My favorite places to ski are in Utah ... Alta and Snowbird. I was at Alta
when it was snowing about 3-4" per hour. They had to shut down the area
early so we could make it down the Little Cottonwood Canyon. Colorado is
okay if you can put up with the crowds ... but ... springtime skiing in
Utah is hard to beat.
