Thanks again, Mike.

I was initially looking at WMB because of its fiber-optic subsidiary. Now, it looks like WMB is also a quality way to play the rebound in energy prices. Something to add to my commodity rebound plays --- Australian and New Zealand WEBS (I could never get the hang of CEFs).<g>

By the way, I know you're looking at Dell as a potential short later in 1999. Compaq and IBM have recently beefed up their financing subsidiaries so they can go after Dell big time using servers as loss leaders and making it up with the service and leasing businesses. I'm curious to see if that would be enough slow down Dell in the NT market in 1999. Michael Dell has lead a charmed life so far. In any case, I do think that when Dell ventures into the UNIX market (2000) and the high-end storage market (mainframe-centric), its margins will start to compress. I'll keep you posted if I find anything useful along those lines.

Best,

Gus
