FBN ASSOCIATES INTRODUCES NASDAQ LEVEL V COMPUTERS

SEDONA--(BIDNESS WIRE)--December 28, 1998-- FBN Associates (NAZDAQ:FBNA - news) today announces it has began beta testing it's revolutionary, unique, state-of-the-art NASDAQ Level V trading computers. "Initially only members and associates of FBN will be receiving the computers," said FBN President TEDennis. "However, if things go well, we are looking at mid second quarter for a national roll-out," he added.

Industry analyst Kerry Carmichael, one of a select few to take part in alpha testing, recently wrote: "Essentially, the FBN Level V machine is nothing more than any other PC with TechniClone's CxBS neural network. However, those geniuses over at FBN added a powerful natural language cognitive semantic AI engine that they tied into the internet. Now, I not only get to see every order entered by the MMs, but also a list of which ones are covering shorts, which ones are selling insider shares, and which ones are running up the stock on behalf of specific PR firms. Even better, the screen turns a different color depending on, for example, when the MMs are 'doing the usual headfake', 'weeding out the weak hands', or when they're 'walking it down or up'. When I Alt-Tab to 'Chat Board' mode I also instantly can see which people are pumping, dumping, trash-talking, lying, ankle-biting, and just plain morons."

Assistant VP of R&D, Tom C, explains: "One day we were all just sitting around the lab reading 'VOLUME 1 ISSUE 3cOUSIN SHORTYS FREE FREE CHICKEN SHEET UNDERVALUED EMAIL TIP SHEET RUMOR NEWSLETTER!!!!!', the issue where he wrote about 'MORE OF THE TRUTH ABOTU THE MARKET I promisneed YOU THE TUTH ABOUTHE SMARTASS BROKERS AND the STOCK PROMOTERS WHO IS BAD AND WHO IS GOOD!!!!!!!!'. We thought it would be kind a cool to put the guy's brain into ROM so we invited him to Sedona, sedated him of course, and the rest is history. My favorite cOUSIN SHORTY 'Chat Board' mode feature is the one that automatically responds with 'AHA AHA AHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!' to any post by a psychiatrist."

FBN Associates says sample Level V printouts were set to be introduced on the Silicon Investor web site simultaneous to the posting of this press release.

Did anyone notice this from Wavetech's press release about thier reverse split?

"Wavetech International Inc. said on Friday it has completed a one-for-six reverse split of its common stock, which is necessary for its planned merger with DCI Telecommunications Inc. (OTC BB:DCTC - news) and to maintain a Nasdaq smallcap market listing."

Nasdaq Smallcap is different than Nasdaq. I think I'd pick the Amex over the smallcap listing if given the choice.
