You are right. There are about 180 seats on either side that can be considered "safe". That leaves about 75 seats "on the fence", so to speak.

I think the Democratic Party will have a majority of between 10 and 15 seats in the House after the year 2000 elections.

Sometimes I think the only way to make a right-wing extremist see the truth is to shape it into a two-by-four and give them a sound whack over the head.
