Jim, the Rambus high speed memory interface will be the next generation standard for PC motherboards. The issue is not "if" but "how quickly" the standard is adopted. RMBS has no competition; it does not manufacturer its product; it licenses it to InTel which has stated it will begin using it massively in 3Q 99; RMBS profit margin is equal to Microsoft's. It will be a unique, monopoly "toll bridge" stock for at least several years.
So it is not as bad as you may think. end of subject. Time will tell the story. It is possible I am wrong, of course.
