Dan, FWIW GRIC or any other bloody newsletter is a vehicle to pump and dump.Plain and simple. The best defense is to ignore the damn things and everyone should do their own DD and make their own decisions based on their comfort zone or risk tolerance. I haven't seen a newsletter or E-mail spam yet that was credible so I ignore them all.They serve the purpose of the writer or the interests he or she is promoting until the goal is acheived and then the next target is chosen.Most have very little concience and do not give a damn who they burn.Once again.....plain and simple,screw thy neighbour. As I have said before the securities commissions are taking a tougher stand in both countries than they did.Hell, a person doesn't even have to be credible now. Just write some hype...spam it on the e-mail and set the sell orders for the stock they got for promoting. Best thing to do is make them accountable with disclaimers on each post or report them each time.After a while they will have to change identities or answer to an investigation.Then $20,000.00 retainers won't be near enough regardless of who they are.
