Smells..>> ETEL does have some decent mms, Herzog, NITE, MASH, etc. You shouldn't have trouble with autofill (probably up to 500) with Etrade, Schwab if you are bidding above the inside offer. If you were using SelectNet directly, it would reject your order unless it is within the inside market. If you were bidding thru ISLD above the offer, it will fill your order up to whatever that's in the ISLD book (the offer side) for price >= the inside offer but <= your bid, then it will kill your order lest a cross market will occur. If there is nothing on the ISLD book between the inside offer and your overbid, it will kill your entire order for the same reason.
